Elevating the voice of physicians
Academic medicine makes the care system better, such as informing standards for quality, safety, and patient experience. Board participation is one way to create alignment and drive meaningful change. Under the new plan, University administrator seats will be phased out from the Fairview board. M Physicians and Fairview will each nominate two voting directors to serve on the other organization’s board. The goal is to strengthen efficiency and coordination between the two organizations.
